Blessings!!!

Dear God,
  We pray for blessings, we pray for peace
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep
We pray for healing, for prosperity
We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering

All the while You hear each spoken need
Yet love us way too much to give us lesser things

'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears?
What if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You're near?

What if trials of this life
Are Your mercies in disguise?

We pray for wisdom, Your voice to hear
We cry in anger when we cannot feel You near
We doubt Your goodness, we doubt Your love
As if every promise from Your Word is not enough

And all the while You hear each desperate plea
And long that we'd have faith to believe

When friends betray us, when darkness seems to win
We know that pain reminds this heart

Or the aching of this life

Life's Chapter...

Life has so many different chapters. One bad chapter doesn't  mean it's the end of the book,But You can't start the next chapter  of your life if you keep re-reading the last one!

Brrrr....!

                                          Brrrrrr...10 degrees here in my heart land! Snow falling quite heavy and the wind at high speed!! And I'm stuck in the house with a fever, and earache. :-/  Yet curled up in my new fleece blanket I got for my birthday and the book "Painless Poetry" at hand. (That I am reading for school) I start my adventure for today!

   Dont judge a book by its cover....

As you can see..Im very much into this book! (;

So far my adventure for today has been trying to understand the meanings of half of these poems. But hey its been quite a journey trying to do so! Picking the brains of these authors and understanding where their words are coming from! And once you do find out you end up being  amazed!!!!  Something I learned Poetry is a language which tells us through a more or less emotion reaction, something that cannot be said.

                 Although I rather be outside,  ;-P

Flakes and Flurries...

Went for a walk today in the snow, try to clear my head and get away from life just for a moment. I have to tell ya it worked! I just let my mind wonder on and on as I watched the detail of the flakes fall onto the ground, its quite amazing when ya stop the world and focus on something so small that is really so big! 

Scavenger Hunt!!!!

Well Heart Lander's there's been some excitement since the last time I  posted. My sister (Kaitlin) got engaged this week! Thats right!!! And with me ,her little sister, being a photographer I had the ability to capture not only there engagement poses, but the proposal as well..take a look...

It all started , our trip to NY, where my Grandparents live, we hadn't done Christmas with them yet and was traveling to go spend it with them. Andrew (Kaitlin's fiance) lives in TX. Missing him she wished he could be there to spend it with them, not knowing that sneaky Andrew and my daddy already had a plan. As we approached Grandmas house, she started us off with a scavenger hunt! Saying there would be a HUGE surprise at the end....

So we were off on our hunt....

Finding clues...such as...

"Want to watch a movie"

Clues..attached to candy boxes....

Still searching for that surprise...

But then..we found this clue..

"Kaitlin, turn around"

And there he was...

I think you can guess what her answer was...(;

                                   Soooo Kaitlin got the diamond ring, and we got boxes of candy, lol but just being there and sharing that moment with them was even more special then the candy!  And then when we got home they asked me to do some Prof. Pictures to hand out!!
