Winter. Zoo. God is Good!

   You've probably seen my post about my job at the zoo, a job that I thought was only going to last the summer, ended up lasting (part-time) winter job as well. Which I am thankful for. Not only is it nice to have a little extra cash in the bank, I just plainly love my job, I mean how can ya not.. look at what Im dealing with!

        These are only a few animals I deal with, and despite the gorgeousness of winter here, winters are tough, the frozen locks, frozen waters, slippery paths, jammed gates, temperatures below 0,
                                 But its all worth it, when you know who your doing it for!

Renting a 36 ft long RV, we packed up and started the roads. We figured it was going to take us 22-28 hours.

 the Ornaments on this tree was massive... and reflection was cool! haha (; On the way home we drove through a light drive.

there was a radio station, the lights blinked with the music.

 When we got home there was a package for Kaitlin (;

For lunch Andrew and Kaitlin took us to a small sit down called Bubba Burger where they

had massive burgers....

Their Tree

    Sunday I got really really sick. With 102 fever, soar throat, chilled to the bone etc.. The rest had gotten it earlier in the week. I thought I'd miss it but.. so unable to sleep I laid there and looked at the tree. haha

One our way home, as sick as we were , looking pathetic, we wanted to stop at the Duck Commander!
