Ears and Prayers..?

   Well Heart Lander's Tomorrows the day!! =:-O and I am shaking in my boots.

and for those who don't know. 2 Months ago I had a really bad ear ache. 3 Days later my left ear went completely deaf. Then started in my right, and again 2-3 days later I lost not all of it but a good percent.  My parents (freaking out lol) called our family doctor but he was away, so they took me to a "Walk-In Clinic". And what an experience that was. She said it was nothing but swim ear. Now heart lander's think about this...Swim ear...in December??? Yeah okay!! But she prescribed me an ear drop antibiotic. I did that for a few days but it just kept getting worse. The pain was unbearable. So finally we got in touch with our family doctor. Who said the clinic was absolutely nuts (While looking inside my tiny ear.)
Explaining on how the ear drum is suppose to be clear like, knowing that's its healthy. But mine was a dark color, and bulging, he said anyone that could miss that is a Whack-job,(he said it in a nicer way..lol) My Momma even looked in and was able to see the dark bulging substance.  He prescribed me an antibiotic too hoping that it would stop the infection. And take the bulging color away. But he also sent me right to a specialist. Where they did a hearing test. 2 ways. the first way they did it was stick 2 ear-plugs ,that were hooked to a machine, into my ears this was to test my drums. Which the test came out that my drums are perfect!!! but when they stuck me into a booth, put head phones on me, and played beeps I could hardly hear anything! They told me I need a Psychologist, and that if none of this cleared up take me to get some "retarded" test done. To see if there was something wrong with my brain. OH GOOD GRIEF!!!! I AM NOT RETARDED!!! am I???
     Soooo back to the family doctor I went, he was furious with this specialist and couldn't believe the way he treated me. Mean while the antibiotic he gave me didn't do anything.I still had as much dark, bulging ear as I did before. So he gave me a different one, with a small dose of steroids to help the swelling. Believe me when I tell you this, If I wasn't in so much pain I would take myself off of all this in a heart beat!

But that did nothing..did it again and nothing! Frustrating yes!!!! Taking all this medication and its doing nothing. 2 blood works were done, and that was the funny part. See hearing test machines, they could be messed up and wrong, Especially our family doctor's little hand hearing test. But blood test don't lie. First blood test I did it def. showed that I had some sort of infection because my white count was high! Now I don't understand it all there was something up with my antibody something I don't know. But the second test came out the same way with the white count..but my antibody was opposite of what it was last time. Whatever that means, all I know from what he told me is that's its not dangerous but its def. something that we need to figure out.  Which leaves me to tomorrow! Where we have an appointment with a specialist in Danville.   Scared?...Yea! I just don't know what they'll find. I am not asking for anything but your unceasing prayers (as it says in 2Thessalonians 2:17 "Pray without ceasing" ) as many of you have already! I am so blessed and encouraged, by the people around me that have done everything to keep me going and smiling! :)     When you think there's no one out there that cares. Think again! There are!!!!!!! <3 The Lord has surely blessed me through this..Yes I have to admit it I have had my days with thing. Which is pretty much everyday. The pain  these past days have been unbearable, but God has been good! He gave me parents that are sticking with me! and have never left my side through this whole thing. My sibling have been a  wonder! As they help me with the little things I can't do just because I can not hear. My brother especially, as he and I know ASL. The poor guy tags along with me everywhere just so he can inturpret for me! The Lord has taught me patience, and leaving things in HIS hands. I just had to give it to HIM. Which at first I didn't. But he simply said "Hope, you cant do it without ME!" Boy was HE right as usual. ;-b
       So I'm signing off as I finish getting ready to hit the hay!
